3 Day Photography Workshop in Bucharest
A 3 day photography workshop in Bucharest for photographers who want more than just better images.
19 - 22 June 2026 - FULLY BOOKED
14 - 17 August 2026
This is not about collecting presets or memorizing settings.
It is about understanding how to see, how to work with light, and how to create images that actually feel intentional.
Over the course of the workshop, we move through different styles, street photography, architecture, low light, motion, long exposure, portraits of people and dogs, and editing, all in real environments, with real conditions.
Because that is where real progress happens.
This workshop is built around those moments.
We spend time in the city, walking, observing, reacting, shooting, adjusting, and refining. I stay close to you while you work, not just showing, but correcting, suggesting, and helping you understand why something works and why something doesn’t.
That is what actually moves you forward.

THE WAY WE WORK
This is a small group workshop, with a maximum of 6 participants.
That detail matters more than anything else.
With a small group, I can see how each of you shoots, how you approach a scene, how you react to light, and where you get stuck. That allows me to give real feedback, not general advice.
Some moments we shoot together.
Some moments you explore on your own.
And then we come back, look at the images, and break them down.
This rhythm is what creates progress.
We don’t separate photography into isolated boxes.
Everything connects.
Street photography helps you react faster.
Architecture helps you build stronger compositions.
Low light forces you to understand exposure.
Motion teaches timing and control.
Portraits teach you how to work with people and presence.
And editing brings everything together into something consistent.
In Bucharest, all of this exists within a few streets.
We move through different parts of the city, from open spaces to narrow streets, from calm areas to busy ones, from daylight into night, and use each situation as a way to learn something specific.
You will not just take photos.
You will start to understand them.
THE EXPERIENCE
This is not a rushed photo tour where you follow a guide and take the same picture as everyone else.
This is a small group workshop, maximum 6 participants, built around interaction, feedback, and real connection.
You will not be left alone trying to figure things out.
I stay close while you shoot, I watch how you work, I step in when needed, and I help you understand what to change and why.
At the same time, the group becomes part of the experience.
Different perspectives.
Different ways of seeing.
Different conversations.
By the end of the workshop, it doesn’t feel like you just attended something.
It feels like you were part of it.

Day 1, Street Photography
We meet on the 14th at 16:00 at the hotel.
We take some time to get to know each other, understand your level, your expectations, and how you currently approach photography.
Then we go out.
The first day is about street photography.
Not in a theoretical way, but directly in the city.
You start to observe, to anticipate, to react.
We work on timing, framing, and confidence.
At the beginning it might feel a bit uncomfortable.
That’s normal.
After a while, you forget about it.
If we get lucky with the light, and Bucharest often surprises you, we can end the day with some really strong sunset images.
Those moments where everything suddenly aligns.
Day 2, Architecture, Composition & Night
The second day shifts the focus.
We slow things down and start building images more deliberately.
We work on architecture, framing, leading lines, and composition.
You begin to understand how to simplify a scene, how to remove distractions, how to guide the viewer’s eye.
At some point, we pause.
We sit down, we go through images, we talk about what works and what doesn’t.
Then we move into editing.
Not complicated editing.
Clear, clean, consistent editing.
Later in the evening, everything changes again.
We go back out.
Now we work with low light, long exposure, and panning.
Movement becomes part of the image.
Light becomes more selective.
And you start to understand how to control it instead of fighting it.

Day 3, Portraits of People and Dogs
The third day is more personal.
We work with people.
Real portraits, natural, not forced.
I bring two human models and one dog model.
This gives you the chance to practice in a more controlled but still natural environment.
We work on:
how to approach someone
how to direct without over-directing
how to read expression
how to use the background
how to keep things simple
Then we move into dog photography.
Different energy, different challenges, more movement, less predictability.
This is where timing, patience, and awareness come together.
And also where things get fun.
EDITING & DIRECTION
At some point, we sit down properly.
We go through your images.
Not quickly, not as a formality.
We actually look.
We talk about selection, consistency, color, and direction.
I show you how I work in Lightroom, how I choose images, how I build a consistent look, and how to avoid over-editing.
The goal is not to copy a style.
The goal is to understand your own.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
The experience is built so you can focus on photography, not logistics.
You stay in a 4 star hotel.
Breakfast is included.
We share one Romanian dinner together.
Tripods are available if you need them for long exposure work.
I also help you with booking airport transfer, so arriving in the city is simple.
Everything is designed to keep your attention on what matters.
PRICE
1500€ per person
Flights are not included.
It is your responsibility to arrive on time.
If needed, it is better to arrive one day earlier rather than risk missing the start.
FINAL NOTE
There are workshops that teach you settings.
There are workshops that show you locations.
This one is about changing how you see.
Because once that shifts,
your photography changes with it.
And that is the part that stays with you long after the workshop is over.

This workshop is intentionally limited to 6 participants.
Not 10. Not 15.
Six.
Because beyond that, the quality drops.
Once the spots are filled, registration closes.
No waiting list guaranteed.
